We’re almost there! Blogtown Press is about to go live in less than 12 hour! With that in mind we’d like to give some special thanks to those who helped us create a great network and a great launch.
For starters I’d like to thank the The Black Orchid Group for helping me with the design and implementation of all the blog designs we’ve decided to use. Some of them are brand spankin’ new and some of them are variations of other themes that we liked but thought needed some tweaking. One of those in particular is the adsminded theme by Hi-Tech. We’ve hacked it up a little bit and rewrote some of the code to make it fluid but the idea remains from that original blog.
I’ve also decided to begin a redesign on my personal blog and I am working with the Black Orchid Group to redesign the Torn Theme by Michael D. Pollock which allows you to give the user options to choose color schemes. I’ve decided to create my own schemes and design but the idea still stays with Torn.
I’d also like to thank Tim Roth who writes Democracy CPR and spends some time writing for our blog Fueling The World. He’s looking to increase his presence on Blogtown Press and we can for sure look forward to more great posts from him.
Also I’d like to thank my Brother, who while he is trying to launch his own clothing line was able to guide me artistically, as I need a bit of artistic guidance. He along with the reclusive Black Orchid Group have helped me create some pretty user friendly and easy on the eyes designs.
I’d lastly like to thank all those people which I asked their opinions of anything related to site development like those good people over at Yaro’s Entrepreneurial Forums and a good friend Cesar for his help with random questions.
And of course if there’s anyone I missed, (especially my fiance who’s put up with having my nose in my computer for the past year!)
